Cancún Nanny Service* was founded in 2001 by Norman McPherson and Jorge Capetillo. They have been serving clients in the Yucatan for more than 30 years and saw the need for busy families to have nanny services available to them. Their agency provides nannies who are well qualified, certified, congenial, bilingual, and love children. The agency is a member of the International Nanny Association and has been mentored by one of their premier agencies, TLC for Kids.
The company has watched Cancun and the Riviera Maya grow from a small resort area to what it is today. A fantasy island with a wealth of sandy white beaches, it has almost perfect weather all-year round. The rich bird life mangrove area of Nichupte Lagoon; a submarine world in the second largest reef of the world; top class restaurants; Mexican markets and world renowned hospitality are just a few of the attractions of our peninsula. Norman McPherson, Director was born in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico in 1955. Norman received his degree in Education from Louisiana State University and returned to the Yucatan where he entered the travel business in 1979. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Belkis Molina, Coordinator was born in Merida, Venezuela in 1967 She received her degree in Social Work in Caracas, Venezuela from the Colegio Universitary of Caracas. Moved to Cancún, Mexico in 2002 and since then has served as coordinator of Cancún Nanny Service.
Elida Molina, Assistant Coordinator, was born in Merida, Venezuela in 1968. She studied education and taught elementary school for three years before moving to the United States to work as an Au Pair for several years then lived in Montreal, Canada for a few years raising a family of her own. Elida speaks English, Spanish and French. She has been Assistant Coordinator for Cancun Nanny Service since 2006.
Jorge Capetillo, Contributing Advisor was born in Mexico in 1953. He received a masters degree in tourism in Mexico City from the National Tourism Institute. Jorge speaks Spanish, German, English and French. He entered the travel business in 1972 working for several tour companies who represent major tour wholesalers in Cancun. Among them are Town & Country Tours, Saga Holidays, Smithsonian Institute, Magnatours, and Voyages On Direct. He also served as destination manager for large incentive programs for Mexican and international firms.
